*BUTTERFLY RIPPLES
(Gossard, J) TET (Chain Energy x tetra Crystal Blue Persuasion)
28" EM Evergreen emo Vfr 5" 4-5 way branching 18-22 buds. A very
good rebloomer. Very fertile both ways. Flowers are creamy pink
with a blue, white and maroon eye zone. The throat is a deep green
starburst, which transforms into charcoal. Several shades of blue are
apparent in the eye. Such can be more or less depending on
environmental conditions. Starting at the throat, colors are deep
green, yellow, charcoal, blue, lavender purple, light maroon, and deep
maroon. Sepals also carry the pattern, which ls easily seen. It
has been a tremendous parent. It is producing better sunfast blue
patterned kids than itself. Parent of my best blue eyed patterned
daylily in both 2006 and 2007, some of which have been hardy dormants.
I have held some stock back to hybridize. A favorite of Larry
Grace and Ted Petit both of whom guested, BUTTERFLY RIPPLES. I Consider
it a southern Daylily since it is tender in my zone five garden.
A very good garden grower in the south, or areas where one can grow
evergreens well.

*CABBAGE PATCH
(Gossard, J., '09) TET (Star of India x Cameroon Night) 41" EM
Dormant emo fr 7" 3-4 way branching 18-22 buds. Fertile both
ways. Flowers of Cabbage Patch are maroon purple with a green throat.
Blooms about 80 % of the time as a crested double. The cabbaging
pinches the flowers making it a pinched UFO. When crossed with other
spider doubles, one can get both normal and crested doubles. It has
been a very important parent for hybridizing unique double crested
UFO's and spiders. Value $150 SF

*CACTUS BLOSSOM
(Gossard, J., '09) TET (Strawberry Candy x Heavenly Beginnings)
x (Born to Late x Crocodile Smile) 41" Late, Dormant emo fr 5 1/4" 5
way branching 24 buds. Fertile both ways. Flowers are strawberry
red, covered with thorny cactus tenticules. The tenticles can be huge
as seen in the bottom photo. Both of the parents have teeth, the last
parent was a seedling from Matthew Kaskel. It had huge teeth, but not
the color and it's teeth was heat related. Cactus Blossium dose not
need the heat to produce the teeth. The tenticles are strawberry color,
outlined in gold. A very good parent for producing eyed flowers with
teeth and tenticles.

GREEN ARROW
(Gossard, J., '09) Diploid (Royal Curls x Great Red Dragon) 46"
M Dormant emo fr 8" 4 way branching 22 buds. Fertile both ways.
Flowers of Green Arrow are a very greenish yellow above a very
green throat. Flowers are cascade UFO. It also makes a lot of
proliferations. This is my #1 green plant, sib to Green Throated Robin,
Green Inferno, Heavenly Spider Monkey and Red Scorpion. It can be
argued to which one is greener , Green Arrow or Green Inferno. I think
that Green Inferno may be greener in the morning but by the end of the
day Green Arrow is greener. I would say that Green Arrow is 5 %
greener. My best green is a cross of GREEN ARROW x GREEN INFERNO.
Green Arrow is also much more pod fertile and makes more proliferations
and is a better rebloomer, thus the reason it is my number one green.
Green Arrow is thus considered to be our best of the green line
introduced todate.

*HEAVENLY DARK MATTER
(Gossard, Ryan, '09) TET (Heavenly Explosion x Red Eyed Jack)
36" M Dormant emo fr 7" 4 way branching 22 buds. Fertile both
ways. Rebloomer. Flowers of Heavenly Dark Matter are bright butternut
yellow with a huge dark maroon purple eye above a green throat. Ryan
keeps carring on his large flower line. If you like them big, Heavenly
Dark Matter is the one to buy. Ryan plans on using it with the tetra
Peppermint Delight kids this year in the green house. Most of the
Peppermint Delight kids are tender, so it is important to use a good
hard dormant and Heavenly Dark Matter is such. Compared to Orange
Firecat, Heavenly Dark Matter is bigger, better branched and taller.
Can be showed in the large flower class. Both of Ryans intros this year
is Hard Dormant. A great parent for big eyes.

HEAVENLY SPIDER MONKEY
(Gossard, J., '09) Diploid (Royal Curls x Great Red Dragon) 48"
M Dormant emo fr 7 1/2" 4 way branching 20 buds. Fertile both
ways. Flowers of Heavenly Spider Monkey are very dark red above a very
green throat. Flowers are cascade UFO's and a true spider of 5.00 to 1
ratio. It also makes a lot of proliferations. This is my #1 plant, sib
to Green Throated Robin, Green Inferno, Green Arrow and Red Scorpion.
When one hybridizes, you try to find a niche area, pick a great
parent and travel the long road. This year I was asked if one were to
hybrize, what parent would I use for creating cutting edge break
throughs. It was easy, Heavenly Spider Monkey. Why, let me show
you a few of the kids and let them speak for the success of Heavenly
Spider Monkey as a breeder. After seeing these kids , I will use it for
years to come. . I potted up 20 plants to treat this fall, so stock is
limited.

*OUTER LIMITS
(Gossard, J., '09) TET (Saber Tooth Tiger x Reap The Whirlwind)
32" MLa Dormant emo fr 6.5" 3 way branching 18 buds. Fertile both
ways. Outer Limits simply has the biggest edge as far as surface area
is concerned produced todate, the edge covers 2/3's of the flower.
Petals are 2 1/4 inches with a 3/4 inch edge. The edge has a greenish
cast. Cross is a sib cross of one my best, crossed with John Benz's
best kid , both of which are from (Forestlake Ragamuffin x Tetra
Spindazzle)..Flowers are Unusual formed crispate. Midway through the
bloom season, doubling occurs. It has been a tremendous parent. It is
producing better toothy huge edged kids than itself. Outer Limits
is a break through in dormant edge breeding........$300 - Full or tet

darker red eyezone above a very green throat. Flowers are crispate
UFO's and a true spider of 5.00 to 1 ratio. It also makes some
proliferations. This is my sib to Green Throated Robin, Green
Inferno, Green Arrow and Heavenly Spider Monkey. It has been a very
good parent for hybridizing for very green throated UFO's and true
spiders. It can be taken into all color ranges and patterns with
excellent results.

41" M Dormant emo fr 7 1/2" 3-4 way branching 17-18 buds. Very
fertile both ways. Flowers of Smurfette are lavender maroon with slate
blue watermark above a green throat. Flowers are UFO crispate.
Smurfette has been a great parent for hybridizing watermarks in the UFO
class. Super Model and White Eyes Pink Dragon kids had wonderful
watermarks when crossed to Smurfette. A very nice garden and
hybridizing daylily.

*SUPER MODEL
(Gossard, J., '09) TET (Lounge Lizard x tetra Purple Many Faces)
43" M Dormant emo fr 7" , 4 way branching 21 buds. Fertile both
ways. SUPER MODEL, wow, what a flower. A clump of Super Model is
spectacular. Flowers are maroon purple with a slate pink watermark
above a green throat. Edges on both the petals and sepals are the color
of the watermark. This is a super good daylily for both the gardener
and hybridizer. Value $150 SF

TORNADO BIRD
(Gossard, J., '09) Diploid (Heavenly Curls x Skinwalker) 35" M
Dormant emo fr 7" 4 way branching 22 buds. Fertile both ways.
Flowers of Tornado Bird are near white above a green throat. It is a
cascade UFO. WOW, Talk about a difficult cross. I tried for years to
set pods on Heavenly Curls, it is very difficult. But for some reason,
a had the right conditions and was able to make the cross of Skinwalker
on Heavenly Curls. I was not disappointed when I bloomed Tornado Bird.
It is a bigger and skinner than Heavenly Curls, an improved version.
Hopefully I will not sell out of this one , because Iam going to use it
in my hybridizing program again this spring. A great parent and
garden daylily. Value $100 SF
