SPRING 2009 INTRODUCTIONS
Southern Dazzle
 *Southern Dazzle (Harry, '09) TET (SDLG X Dove in Flight) Sev. 6 ½” flowers, 28” scapes, 3 way branching with 30 buds. At long last this stunning creation from Phillip and Mary Gaskins has sufficient numbers to be introduced. Greatly admired hobbyists and hybridizers alike. This daylily is one of the finest double edge flowers in introduction today. Stunningly gaudy with its massive deep clear plum purple eye and edge surrounded by a dazzling large gold outer edge. This leaves only a small amount of cream white self color on the petals. This is a pentacle of DOVE IN FLIGHT breeding. SOUTHERN DAZZLE is an absolutely memorizing daylily that will stop you in your tracks. Fertile, with hold your breath kids.

Susan Elinor
*Susan Elinor (Harry, '09) TET (That Thing You Do X Songwriter) Sev. 6” flowers, 25” scapes, 4 way branching with 25 buds. So special that I named this lily for my mother. This sensational daylily has been admired by many major hybridizers, SUSAN ELINOR blooms early in the season and continues to be one of the last still blooming. Opening perfectly flat every morning whether the temperature is 40 degrees or 90 degrees is a trademark of this lily. A Deep rose pink, green throat and the most ornate 24 karat gold edge are some of its show stopping qualities. SUSAN ELINOR is a must have in every garden. Fertile both ways.

Dovealicious
 *Dovealicious (Harry, '09) TET(Dove in Flight X SDLG) Sev. 7” flowers, 30” scapes, 30 buds. This huge beautifully formed flower is a great beauty in and of itself, but because of its DOVE IN FLIGHT parentage the real secret here is, it has thrown my finest blue eyed seedlings. These seedlings from DOVEALICIOUS have set an entirely new standard for blue eyes and edges. This beautiful flower is a creamy white with a hot pink eye and large matching edge with a ruffled gold outer edge on top! Very fertile, my best overall parent.

Nicole's Tiger Eye
 *Nicole's Tigers Eye (Harry, '09) TET ((Sunday Sandals x sdlg.) X Tet. Connie Burton ) Sev. 5” flower, 24” scapes, 4 way branching, 28-30 buds. This lily really packs a punch with its dramatic deep purple eye and edge on a creamy light yellow background. TIGERS EYE is incredibly round with sepals almost as large as its petals, very nicely branched and a great bud count. Scapes stand well above its beautiful low foliage. Fertile both ways.

Barbara Morello
 *Barbara Morello (Harry, '09) TET (Antique Novequ X Frank’s Star of Bethlehem) Sev. 7” flowers, 29” scapes, 3 way branching with 30 buds. This is truly a one of a kind color, which I have not seen anywhere else. A violet purple with a bold chartreuse edge and a throat reflecting its edge. This large 7” flower on a 29” scape is a serious must have for purples of the cleanest colors and also green edge breeding. Fertile both ways.

Nicole's American Beauty

It is one of the most continual rebloomers in my garden. Super saturated rose red with a lime green throat and heavy ruffling standing tall on a well branched scape make this an impressive garden lily. Fertile both ways.

Glamoureyez *Glamoureyez (Harry, '09) TET (Dove of Gasgone X SDLG) Sev. 7” flowers, 27” scapes, 3 way branching with 25 buds. Dramatic, gaudy, and stunning and some of the words that come to mind when you see this flower. The deepest burgundy purple fills the overpowering eye and hugely ruffled edge with a butter cream base. This glamorous eye will most certainly catch your attention. Fertile.

Sheza Heartbreaker *Sheza Heartbreaker (Harry, '09) TET (That Thing You Do X SDLG.) Sev. 7” flowers, 28” scapes, 4 way branching with 28 buds. SHEZA HEARTBREAKER is just that, the colors are so luscious they make your heart just melt. A strawberry pink self with a deeper eye topped with a frosty white edge which at times can be up to one inch. This large, ruffled flower with a spilling green throat is throwing some one of a kind kids. A personal favorite. Nicely fertile both ways.

This cutting edge (no pun intended) daylily sets the new standard for doubles with teeth . This daylily has the largest teeth on a beautifully clean rose violet background, that I have yet to see.
