This dark, rich, velvety red
flower with a lighter watermark and a
green throat is accented with a lightly ruffled edge. With veins of
near black, Symphony of Fire stands out clearly from all other colors
of the daylilies planted around it, a definite stopper worthy of
further visual study in the garden. The intense color saturation
is a
tribute to Bill Munson’s work, and the striking velveteen petal surface
