*DANCING CHEVRONS (Stamile,P.) 431-A [(Volusian Spider x Aerial Display) X Tetra Marked By Lydia] 34” EERe. Emo. Ev. 11” x 1 ½” x 1” (13” wingspan). Spider. Spider ratio 4.6:1.   7-way branching (4 laterals + terminal W).  45-50 buds. This startling daylily is a pale chartreuse yellow with near black purple chevrons on both petals and sepals. The chevrons on the petals are split with a chartreuse midrib which adds to the illusion of length of petal while sepal chevrons consist of a black purple, outlining a citron green heart.

One of the earliest daylilies to bloom DANCING CHEVRONS marks the beginning of the daylily season. Visitors to the garden over a month later see only the rebloom.

A fabulous daylily and a personal favorite. Pollen fertile but so far no pods.
