(Stamile, P.) TET 5112 (Zephyr’s Song x Judy Farquhar) 28” EMRe. emo.
Ev. 7” x 4 1/8” x 2 ¾”. 3-way branching. 18-21
buds. We are not known for doing huge apricot oranges with coral
overtones, yet along comes FIJI, from the orange and pink base in both
ZEPHYR’S SONG and JUDY FARQUHAR. Many things make FIJI
special. It is one of the few apricot oranges with coral
overtones with a bright gold edging on both petals and sepals.
Moreover, the edges of the flowers have some of the deepest looping
ruffles that I have ever seen in a daylily. One day I measured
from the top of the loop to the surface of the flower and it was an
amazing 2”. The beautiful “angel wings” are also edged in
gold. FIJI also has exceptional substance, deep blue green
foliage, excellent plant proportions and scape to foliage height.
Fertile both ways. Outstanding! Very limited.
