*Guy's Outrageous

*GUY'S OUTRAGEOUS (Pierce G.) 2093-B (Chesapeake Bay x Tetra Rose F. Kennedy) SEV-DOR, EM, 42” tall, 7.5-8” flower, 5 way branching, 35-40 buds  Multi Rebloom  100% Diamond Dusting  Double Substance  Bi-tone  90% GREEN.

I can still remember throwing out keepers in this cross.  Again my space is very limited especially with all our diverse programs.  Fortunately, Chesapeake Bay is easily pod fertile so I was able to make dozens of seed of this cross, and as I had to toss out big outstanding seedlings, all I had to do was look over at GUYS' OUTRAGEOUS and it made it so much easier...  I really don’t need to describe the flower to you, what you see… Every bloom.  A tremendous parent, GUY'S OUTRAGEOUS is the backbone of all the Bigger and Better here at the farm.  A strong grower, and I have never lost a plant.  GUY'S OUTRAGEOUS should perform all over the country.  I can’t tell you how many times I have just stared.  So much bigger than what I now call the older tetraploids.  With twice the substance, twice the thickness at the neck.  Our sprinklers come on about 2pm pounding the blossoms, and after 20 minutes there is virtually No effect!  As far as I’m concerned this is the future, and boy is it exciting again…  Fertile both ways.  Limited.
