LITTLE DUNKIN (Stamile G.)  DIP  17”, 2.5”, SEV, EM re emo, 4 way branching, 30 buds,  low arching foliage

LITTLE DUNKIN is not named after the coffee, but rather a long term customer, who is particularly fond of the miniatures, and has been coming to the garden the past couple of years and asking about DUNK.  At first we could not place which one he was referring to but eventually realized he wanted the one where the cross numbers on the tag had come off so I put D – UNK.  The D was for diploid and the unk was for unknown.   So for our dear friend Ross Hunter of Louisiana  – we introduce LITTLE DUNKIN.   This is an amazing little 95% double with raspberry red petals with veining, light pink to white edges with a deep purple band around the watermarked eye.  The first photo is from early March when the temps were in the 50’ and I added it so as to see the pattern.  By June there is so much white popcorn doubling that the pattern is hidden.  Absolutely charming.
