*Matthew Weldon (Pierce
G.) 1172-I (Violet Butterfly X Tet Texas Kaleidoscope) X Tet
Colorful Etchings) TET EV EM 40” 5.75” flower, 5 way branching, 35-40
buds.
The moment I had Jack Carpenter’s Colorful Etchings converted the
pollen went mercilessly on every patterned daylily we grow.
Fortunately I was able to grow tens of thousands of Tet Colorful
Etching seedlings, and are now happy to introduce one of the
best; Matthew Weldon. Round, full form flowers exactly as
the photo from first to last bloom from April until August when we must
line them all out again. Also the big patterned eye is much bluer
in person. Am I happy? You bet and I’m sure you will enjoy
Matthew Weldon in your garden too. Named for a great customer in
Arkansas – we are happy to name this flower for him.
Fertile both ways.
