I have used MIDNIGHT IN PARIS heavily for the past five years breeding to get large/ wide gold edges on tall well branched scapes.  It worked!   MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is easily pod fertile and has been one of my best parents for both blacks and purples to get the scapes up and into view!  The color is a velvety black self with a hint of crimson covered in diamond dusting.  Despite the heavy gold edging there is no hanging up and with all the buds and branching blooms are displayed to perfection.  Highly recommended.  Fertile both ways.
