Patterns Aplenty, Daylily

*Patterns Aplenty

*Patterns Aplenty (Pierce G.)  1315-R (Sdlg 976 X Tet Texas Kaleidoscope) X Tet Cosmic Kaleidoscope) TET EV EM 36” 6.25” flower, 4 way branching, 30-35 buds.

This wild large flowered patterned daylily is set on fat tall scapes that bloom non-stop.  The original pod parent 976 was an amazing pattern bridge, with large blooms, height, and like 70-80 buds.  She did me good!!!  The full form faces of Patterns Aplenty are almost completely covered by design and colors from the deep green throat outward to the quite large lilac purple patterned eye.  The wide petals on Patterns Aplenty have a lovely raspberry stitching effect that weaves in and out around the flowers double edges of both plum and bluish lilac.  There are then little colored beads at the petals ends embedded in silver.  That’s a mouthful.  Patterns Aplenty is much easier to just stare at.  Substance is heavy and looks perfect from first to last bloom, I’m sure you’ll agree.  Bold and wild, and has been a great parent for me. Patterns Aplenty is like nothing else.  Easily fertile both ways.
