RANDALL LANIER BARRON is named for a long time customer and supporter
of our daylilies and a driving force in the Tulsa Area Daylily Society
and Region 11. We were so happy to be able to name an
introduction for Randall. As a wonderful grower and lover of
daylilies and a hybridizer himself we know you will enjoy growing this
flower. Randall chose this daylily to be his namesake and we appreciate
his patronage.
Round like a plate this beautiful purple flower has great days, and
days where the edging is so white and wide it’s almost hypnotic.
Nowadays having a gold edge is not that big of a deal, but when you get
the whole package together, that’s what makes it
exciting. RANDALL LANIER BARRON will set pods on
almost every try, and has wonderful plant habit, with blue green
foliage. The bluish watermark is repeated around the petals
beneath the wide pure white edging. Fertile both ways and a
vigorous grower.
