When I first saw these blooms all in their rows, the first thought that
came to mind was “RED BALLS OF FIRE…” and thus became its garden name.
Not as intense red as RUBY RIDGE, but a very beautiful red blossom none
the less. The tightly ruffled round petals are embedded around the edge
in brilliant gold bubbles. Long gold tear drops appear on re bloom
flaring out from and around the flower’s rim. Fertile both ways.
