*AZURE  WINGS (Stamile, P) TET 336-H (Bali Watercolor X Linguini) 41” EMRe. emo. Ev. 11 ½” x 1 ½” x 7/8”.  (12 ¼” wingspan). 6-way branching. 40-45 buds. Spider. Spider ratio 4.2:1. AZURE WINGS is the first tetraploid bicolor spider that I know of. This gorgeous orchid and lavender bicolor is a stunning garden subject. The scapes are tall, strong, erect and perfectly branched with long wide laterals holding the huge flowers well off the medial axis. Flowers are held outfacing for perfect garden presentation in a tall flower. A precise chartreuse green throat extends well out onto the flower. The hint of a multiple patterned eye from BALI WATERCOLOR is also present. This is one great daylily that belongs in every garden whether you love spiders or merely have a few representatives in the garden. One of my best spiders. Pollen fertile. I have not gotten pods.
