*CORTINA

*CORTINA (Stamile, P.) TET 816-B (Victorian Lace X Key Lime Ice) 23” EMRe. fr. emo. Ev. 6” x 3 ½” x 2”.      3 way branching. 18-24 buds. This beautiful smooth heavy white with a distinct gold edge is one of my finest whites to date.  While CORTINA, named for the famed ski area of Italy, is not a pure white but a near white with glistening overtones of green and pale yellow. The edge is a bright waxy green yellow. The flower often shows folds and shows super sculpting as shown in the photograph but typically is a more formal flat, round form..  CORTINA is one of our most important pod parents for whites and should be an invaluable tool for those looking to breed green.  What is happening to the “whites” is truly amazing and CORTINA is in the beginning of this fabulous revolution in edged “whites”. Fertile both ways.……………………………$100.00
