*QUASIMODO (Stamile,P.)TET 946-A ({(Star
Of India x Long Stocking) x [(Druids Chant x Lonesome Dove) x Long Stocking])
X Moving All Over) 38” ERe. fr. emo. Ev. 9” x 1 ½” x 1”.
(11” wingspan) 5 way branching. 35
buds. We are very fortunate in Florida to have bloom on many of these early
spiders in mid-April and again in late May and often again in mid-June.
Fortunately for the spiders they open beautifully even when the night temperatures
are down in the 40s and 50s. QUASIMODO is a dramatic daylily in the
garden with its bold dark black red eye which is split by a white midrib
on a wine red flower. Flowers are curled and twisted with sepals
often coiled like an old watch spring. A large dramatic green throat
splays out from the flower center. Strong erect scapes branching
with incredible branching for a spider, QUASIMODO is a fine addition to
the spider class. Fertile both ways……………………………..$75.00
