represents the future of reds in daylilies: reds with gold braids, teeth,
tentacles to rival the most pretentious of the lavenders. RED FANG
gets its name because often the edge is expressed in teeth coming out from
the edge of the flower rather than the more common gold beads and ruffles.
This is another one that stokes my imagination as to what will come.
It reminds me of PORCELAIN PLEASURE which in 1981 had this little gold
wire on a white which you had to turn just right to see the fleeting glint
of gold. RED FANG is clearly the very beginning. We dont have
to hold it just right to see the gold edge but it is what it will become
that is so exciting. A new look in reds. Easily fertile both ways
