From a seedling Matthew Kaskel shared with Gunda Abajian, Dan Trimmer and myself came this very SPECIAL OVATION. This beautiful cream yellow with a rose red eye and edge and a very green throat is one of the best branched of this years introductions. While it does not have quite the number of buds of MISSISSIPPI MEMORIES, it has every bit as good branching. Flowers are held nicely without crowding either buds or scape. The form is wide with blunt sepals. Excellent substance and occasional angel wings round out this beautifully ruffled and special flower. Fertile both ways
