To Spin

*TOPSPIN (Stamile,P.) TET 445-D [(Quasimodo x Velvet Ribbons) X Scarecrow] 38” EMRe. emo. Ev. 11” x 1” x 1”. Classic spider. Spider ratio 5.5:1. 5-way branching (2 laterals + “W”)  25 buds.
This dark ruby red spider dances as if it were alive. Every segment is twisted, quilled or curled in some way. The charm of this flower lies in the fact that no two flowers could possibly be alike. Like its pollen parent it has a nice green throat that lights up the center of the flower but it is the segment tips that really spin and give this remarkable daylily its name. Fertile both ways.
