* 'Conquest Quay' - Sev., Fr., M., 28 in sc.; 6.5 in. fl., 3 way branching with 21 buds.  I used 'Dreams of Heroes' which frequently has a dinner plate sized flower (8 inch flowers are not uncommon in our garden) looking to increase flower size, produce more suffused and interesting colour, and ensure a flower scape held well and proudly above the foliage.  'Conquest Quay' demonstrates that sometimes you do get what you wish for. 'Conquest Quay'  has excellent size and wonderful form, and has captured and enhanced the very pleasing pink of 'Dreams of Heroes' by combining it with the subtle yellow and white tones of 'J.T. Davis'. A thick textured baby ribbon pink flower surrounded by a crimped, ruffled gold edge. A large striking bright green throat accents this wonderfully, bright, vibrant, wide petaled flower. ‘Dreams of Heroes’ x ‘J.T. Davis’.
