* 'Caught by Surprise' (John Peat, 2004). Semi-evergreen. 22 in. (55.9 cm) scape; 5 in. (12.7 cm) flower. Early-midseason. 3-4 way branching with 26 buds. Reblooms. A cream-pink flower with a bold, brilliant candy-apple red eyezone that forms a striking pattern. The patten is mimicked on the sepals which can always be seen. A wire red picotee and wire gold edge surround this bold and striking flower. Tetraploid. ('Strawberry Candy' x 'Awesome Blossom') x ('Mardi Gras Ball' x Kaskel Sdlg.).
