*DIAMONDS IN THE SKY -- (White Crinoline x Winter In Eden), 5.5 " fl., 25" sc., Mid., Sev. to Ev.., 15 buds. With white flowers being relatively rare in tetraploid daylilies, this pure white flower was a marvelous break in my program. I chose the name Diamonds in the Sky since this white flower is heavily diamond dusted. The soft ruffling and a striking green throat contrast the white petal self. While the gold edged flowers in this color class still have a yellow or pink tint, Diamonds in the Sky is a very pristine near to pure white. |
