*DOMINIC BROCK-CAIN

* 'Dominic Brock-Cain' (John Peat, 2004). Semi-evergreen. 20 in. (50.8 cm) scape; 5.5 in (12.7 cm) flower. Early-midseason. 3 way branching with 35 buds. A cream-melon with a large rose colored eyezone and a matching picotee edge. This heavily ruffled ornate flower has a heavy gold bubbly edge and pleating that extends deep into the lime green throat. The petals are so wide that the flower appears very round. Originally it had a garden name of 'Bobby's Best' because Bobby Baxter expressed absolute delight when he  discovered it and filmed it in our garden during its maiden bloom. The flower name was recently changed and formally registered as 'Dominic Brock-Cain' at the request of baby Dominic's very proud Grandmother, Madonna Arsenault. Tetraploid. 'Adventures With Ra' x ('Mardi Gras Ball' x 'Gail Fox').
