*FIREFLY NIGHTS

* 'Firefly Nights' (John Peat, 2004). Dormant. 20 in. (50.8 cm) scape; 5.25 in. (13.3 cm) flower. Early-midseason. 3 way branching with 24 buds. Reblooms. A cream near-white, dormant daylily with a dark black-purple eyezone above an emerald green throat. The contrasting black- purple edge with a tiny toothy wire gold edge makes this daylily glow from above the foliage. A continuous favorite of mine, which is perfect for the colder climates in that it is an 'under-the- ground' dormant plant. Tetraploid. ('Daring Dilemma' x ('Tet. Siloam Virginia Henson' x 'Sylvan Delight')) x 'Mardis Gras Ball'.
