This nine true petalled rose red flower with a darker rose red eye and consistently wide lighter, loosely ruffled edges add to the overall beauty of this cultivar, one of my favorite doubles. It has all six stamens intact and is consistently hose in hose - I have never seen it perform otherwise. The importance of having nine true petals in a double is a must for me, as one of my goals is the creation of fifteen petaled daylilies and more. The prodigy from this pod and pollen fertile cultivar, also often show the nine true petals.
