* ‘Linda Galvez’ (John Peat, ‘04) Semi-evergreen. 22
in. (55.9 cm) scape; 7.5 in. (19.1 cm) flower. Midseason. A burgundy, pink
flower with a creped petal texture. The flowers have a double layered complex
eyezone of a darker and lighter burgundy pink with a yellow overcast. Interestingly,
the eye continues around the flower as a very dark burgundy picottee with
an inner layer of rose burgundy. The double picottee is then surrounded
by a third, extremely ruffled rubbery gold to orange edge. A large complex-patterned
flower, very showy. (‘Just Infatuation’ x ‘Eternity’s Shadow’) x (‘Wrapped
in Gold’ x ‘Mardis Gras Ball’) x ‘John Peat’].
