*LOUISE PASKO

* 'Louise Pasko' (John Peat, 2004). Semi-evergreen. 22 in. (55.9 cm) scape; 6.25 in. (15.8 cm) flower. Early-midseason. 4 way branching with 20 buds. A dramatically popcorn-edged flower with bubbles of diamond dusted gold and white. A large dark black-purple flower, with a trace of a darker black eyezone above a grass green throat. The strong presence of this flower in the garden reminds me of my friend Louise who commands a great deal of respect in our neighborhood and among the students that she teaches. Tetraploid. 'Edge of Eden' x 'Eternity's Shadow'.
