*LUPITA VINDAZ

* ‘Lupita Vindaz’ (John Peat, ‘04) Dormant. 20 in. (50.8 cm) scape; 5 in. (12.7 cm) flower. Early-midseason. A bright fire engine red complex eyezone bleeds in a rippled effect out from the dark green throat. The multi-layered eye pulls you in, with 6 ripples of varying shades of red, starting with a dark red band, moving to a lighter pink-red, back into the fire engine red, and finally bleeding out in candy apple red shade.  An unusual patterning within the flowers that changes daily. Tetraploid. (‘Avant Garde’ x ‘Altered State’) x ‘Just One Look’.
