*OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD

*Occupational Hazard (Peat, John, 2003) Tet., JP-F02-02 (Sapphire Skies X Jack Of Hearts) EM., Re., Sev., 5.5" Fl., 22" Sc., 18-20 buds, Fertile both ways. A very ruffled deep velvet red with violet red mid-ribs above a deeper and darker red eyezone. The petals are surrounded by a wire white gold edge with the white edge being much more pronounced on the sepals. The throat glows from within in the flower as it is a flourescent apple green moving out onto the midrib area in a pattern. The name says it all, as we are constantly trying to improve the gold edges on our reds, it was only a matter of time before we turned the edges white; a great combination of colors.
