*SEBASTIAN TIERNEY

* 'Sebastian Tierney' (John Peat, 2004). Semi-evergreen. 26 in. (66.0 cm) scape; 5.5 in. (12.7 cm) flower. Midseason. 3-4 way branching with 25 buds. Reblooms. A heavily ruffled lavender with a darker burgundy pink eyezone and a faint burgundy pink picotee edge above a green throat. The flowers have extremely wide petals making the flower very round indeed. The edges are adorned in gold bubbly ruffles of a hard plastic substance. Named for the most quiet, happy and active three month old baby that I have ever met. Tetraploid. 'Bill Munson' x 'Clothed in Glory'.
