*TERESA MCGEACHIE

* ‘Teresa McGeachie’ (John Peat, ‘04) Semi-evergreen. 22 in. (55.9 cm) scape; 5 in. (12.7 cm) flower. Midseason. Rebloom. A cream-pink, with a complex eyezone that begins as a lighter red watermark, the next layer is a deep, dark candy apple red which then extends in a triangular washed bright red out along the lighter pink mid-ribs. The very striking pattern created by the changes in petal color, midrib color and eyezone surround the celery green throat. Tetraploid. ‘Caught by Surprise’ X [(Strawberry Candy x Awesome Blossom’) X ‘Altered State’].
