This is a very special flower named for a very special lady and dear friend whom I have known since I was in my teens. She has been kind, generous and extremely supportive of daylilies of every kind over the entire time I have known her and it is my great honor to be allowed to name a plant for her. The flowers are a medium purple with a lighter and darker patterned eye of cream and purple. The sepals are a medium purple with the tips patterned a light cream. Form is very round, full and overlapped. The throat is tiny and lime green. Scapes are well branched and carry multiple blooms. Fertile. |
