!Welcome To Rollingwood Gardens!
The rumors are true, we have moved back to
Gainesville were we began our careers in hybridizing daylilies. The
property is located just outside of Gainesville, on five acres. We have
succesfully built and planted almost all of our planter boxes -
installed and have been running our irrigation systems. The posts are
in place for our large shade house, as we there are only newly planted
trees on property, we need to protect the plants from that scorching
Summer Florida Sun. Not to mention it makes for a very pleasant
envirornment for our visitors to view our creations and for us to work
in.
We are still in the process of moving, we have moved
7 transport trucks to the property and have a mere 3 more to go (as of
April 2, 2007). We are going to be fully operational come May, so we
welcome all visitors to the garden. A complete map will be available
very soon on this home page, for now we have the directions below.
Shipping and order taking will commence immediately,
all of our plants will be shipped from Gainesville as all of the new
introductions are on the new site.
Take the Newberry exit in Gainesville, head west on
SR 26 (away from the Red Lobster) towards Newberry. Go west to CR
241 South (170th Street) turn left. Garden is aproximatly
three miles down on right side of road. Physical address is :
3912 SW 170th Street.
Please do stop in for a visit while touring gardens
in Florida, we are a mere 35 minute drive from Le Petit Jardin and
Cross Border Daylilies of McIntosh, FL. So you will have plenty to see
in North Florida Daylily Mecca this year!
