* ‘SMALL WORLD LAKE EFFECT SNOW’ (Miller, M.,’ 08)
Dip, sw-sp-20-d-05 (‘Wilson Spider’ x ‘Small World Twister’) Re., Vla,
Dor., 32 in., 12” 3 way branching carrying 18 buds. Well here it
is! The one that everyone has been waiting on for us to
introduce! It’s the largest white spider on the market to date. The
smallest blooms measure 12 inches with the largest measuring 15
inches. Average blooms are 13 inches. This one could be
taller and could have better bud count and branching, however, I have
never left it alone longer than one year. ‘Small World Lake Effect
Snow’ is being treated for conversion by my friend Pat
Stamile. Due to the monster size blooms it is a difficult pod
setter, I have only set a few pods on it, but pollen is easy to
use. It’s an awesome breeder for large whites and light pinks and
we will see blooms from more of its seedlings this year. Makes
small fans. Is a vigorous grower. We will be on the
Regional 3 tour next year so our supply is limited.
