‘Small World Little
Giant’ (Miller, M., ’10) Dip., sw-sp-19t-d-08 (‘Magic of Oz’ X ‘Small
World Twister’) Dor., La., Re., 46”, 5.25”, 4-way branching, 30 BC. Hot
raspberry color with a wonderful green throat. As seen from the
picture this one has distinct railroad tracks on the petals and sepals
(raised places on the bloom that run from the throat to the end of the
bloom). Another great characteristic of this cultivar,
besides being the first of many smaller spiders/UFs from Small World
Gardens, is that it blooms late when most other cultivars are blooming
down. Plant habit is great. Small World Gardens is planning
to produce more smaller spiders and UFs in response to hobbyists
suggestions. Fertile both ways.
