    I have always been fascinated with two features of Grace’s miniatures. First the turquoise coloring in some of the eyes and second the charcoal eyes in Tiny Playmate, Little Blue Note and so many others. With Charcoal Eyes I finally have a large flower with that wonderful “charcoal effect”. Except for tropical hibiscus, I can think of no other flower with the silver gray charcoal eye. Charcoal Eyes’s vanilla cream base and outer fuchsia band and inner lavender band compliments the inner band of gray charcoal. There is also a partial fuchsia picotee as well as a very green throat.

    Charcoal Eyes is more than just a pretty face. It has great scapes   and a great overall flower presentation so it should be not only a good garden flower but show flower, too. Fertile both ways but not an easy pod parent.
