totally different from all of its siblings – you would never know it

related to its sister seedlings. Personally, I have never seen anything

like FLAPJACK in daylilies or in any other flower.
FLAPJACK
is first flat right from the throat like a discus and hence the
name. The
color is copper with bands of garnet and lilac with a huge dominant
canary
yellow throat. This one puts a smile on my face every time it comes
into bloom
in the late season. Fertile both ways.
