I have dreamed of Tet Green Eyed Envy
producing huge flat blooms with unique patterns but always thought it
would
come from Tet Green Eyed Envy itself rather than a grandchild. My old
mentor,
George Rasmussen, from the Long Island Daylily Society always reminded
me to
look to the grandparents. You can easily see in this instance how you
can
recover lost recessives in the second generation.
GREEN
EYED APPLIQUE is a clear bright mimosa yellow with a multicolored
patterned
eye of amethyst and lilac gray with a large citron colored applique
throat on
huge flat outfacing blooms. Wonderful breeder for interesting patterns.
Fertile
both ways.
