With a nod to Van Sellers whose expression “Lawzy Lawzy” always tickles us and to the 17 yr old Lloyd Price’s “Lawdy Lawdy Miss Clawdy” we introduce Lawdy Lawdy.

 When you first see this bloom open perfectly in the morning with its huge size which sometimes has gone over 10.5” and distinctive color of green and violet purple you just gasp.

Lawdy Lawdy also has some very interesting features. The back of the flowers show the same coloration as the front of the flower giving a wonderful multi-directional effect in the garden. The flowers occasionally show cristation in the throat which looks like a tiny double flower sitting in the throat. The first set of scapes are usually at 28” while the last set of scapes can top 38”.
